GOOD Pea and Pecorino Crostini

This week is beating me. Hard. It’s been a real grind so forgive the lack of writing.

To keep the momentum up, I have another GOOD recipe to keep you going until I finish the other fifty zillion that lie waiting in the drafts box. This one is Pea and Pecorino Crostini, made with GOOD oil (I’m on my 30-day challenge, remember!). It’s something a bit different to serve to guests, and it’s GOOD for you. Bon appetit!

Now, I think I could even prepare this recipe! I like anything with crostini in the name! It’s the end of the week. Grind interrupted for at least two days. Seriously, what other answer is there except carbohydrates?

Epic, this has nothing to do with recipes–but I am watching BBC news and the newscaster is Owen Thomas. Are you familiar with him? I almost laugh out loud when he does the news or interviews, he seems to be smiling at the most dire stories or does something with his eyebrows going up and then a sort of smirk, even when he’s interviewing people. Seriously, I thought he might have been drinking but I don’t think it’s that. Anyway, just wondering if you know who I mean or whether it’s just international coverage that we see and not inside England.

    Hi Pat,

yes we know who you mean. I see him on BBC here but not that much. Maybe I don’t watch the right broadcasts, but as you probably see him on BBC World, we see him on BBC 24 which is the all day news channel, kind of like CNN for Brits. I must watch him tomorrow to see if I notice any inappropriate eyebrow raising or smirking. I’ll get back to you…

They were absolutely lush, have you tried putting these together at home?

Hi Chris! Not yet, but I have been experimenting with everything from open sandwiches Scandinavian style to mushroom stroganoff. I’m also using it on my face and yesterday some of my colleagues commented on my skin looking good so it’s working! When I have some time I’ll write about my first GOOD week…
